Stored XSS through custom themes
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024
Stored XSS in JetBrains TeamCity before 2023.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user’s browser via a custom theme. JetBrains identifies the custom-theme path but has not disclosed the affected field, renderer, or missing neutralization operation. Low-privileged access and another user’s interaction are required; successful exploitation runs script with that viewer’s TeamCity web privileges.
