CVE-2023-38052Network attack vector

Administrator record compromise via unchecked object identifier

Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Authorization bypass in Easy!Appointments before 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read, modify, or delete administrator records. The GET, PUT, and DELETE /admins/{adminId} handlers use the supplied admin identifier to query, update, or delete a record without verifying the caller is authorized for it. Any low-privileged API account can target a high-privileged administrator, exposing account data and allowing unauthorized changes or deletion.
