Adjacent code execution via DHCP command injection
Published Aug 10, 2023 · Updated Dec 4, 2024
Command injection in UniFi AP and Switch DHCP clients allows adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected devices. The DHCP client incorporates externally supplied DHCP data into a command without neutralizing command syntax; Ubiquiti has not identified the field, command, or function involved. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access to influence DHCP processing, and successful injection runs attacker-chosen code on the appliance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
