Hard-coded credentials in the hidden Telnet service of SpotCam FHD 2 1.0036 allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The firmware exposes a hidden Telnet function that accepts a fixed username and password instead of device-specific credentials. No prior authentication or user interaction is required, and a successful login permits arbitrary system operations or service interruption.
