Database read and modification via actionEdit SQL injection
Published Jul 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in IBOS 4.5.5 Mobile Notification Handler allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data via crafted edit requests. The actionEdit handler at ?r=officialdoc/officialdoc/edit passes attacker-controlled request data into an SQL operation without proper neutralization. A valid low-privileged session and adjacent-network access are required under the CNA assessment; public evidence does not identify the injectable parameter.
