Cross-site request forgery in Smarty for WordPress 3.1.35 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings via forged requests. The displaySmartyManagementPage function accepts state-changing requests without valid WordPress nonce verification. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the forged request while authenticated, enabling unauthorized settings changes.
