CVE-2023-37964Network attack vector

Credential capture via non-POST HTTP endpoints

Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 6, 2024

CSRF in Jenkins ElasticBox CI Plugin 5.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to capture Jenkins credentials through crafted requests. Several HTTP endpoints accept non-POST requests and connect to an attacker-chosen URL using supplied Jenkins credential IDs. Exploitation requires a victim to load attacker-controlled content and a credential ID obtained through another method; the outbound connection exposes the selected credential.
