Forced account login via missing OAuth state
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
CSRF in Jenkins Assembla Auth Plugin 1.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to log users in to attacker-controlled accounts. The plugin's OAuth flow omits the unique, non-guessable state parameter that binds an authorization response to the user's login request. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-initiated OAuth flow and changes the victim's Jenkins session to the attacker's identity.
