Authenticated SSRF via unchecked connection-test URL
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
SSRF in Jenkins Test Results Aggregator Plugin 1.2.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to make controller-side requests. The doTestApiConnection form-validation endpoint passes an unvalidated jenkinsUrl plus supplied credentials to Collector.getAPIConnection(). Overall/Read permission reaches the endpoint, letting the controller connect to attacker-chosen hosts; response content is not returned, so the SSRF is blind.
