Credential capture via CSRF-triggered endpoint requests
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins mabl Plugin 0.0.46 and earlier allows remote attackers to capture stored Jenkins credentials. MablStepBuilder form-validation and application and environment list endpoints accept GET requests, attacker-supplied service URLs, and a credential ID, then send the selected secret in an outbound request. Exploitation requires a logged-in Jenkins user to visit attacker-controlled content; the captured secret can then be used outside Jenkins.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
