CVE-2023-37934Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via unthrottled HTTP requests

Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Resource exhaustion in Fortinet FortiPAM 1.0.0 through 1.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service with HTTP requests. FortiPAM HTTP(S) request handling allocates resources for crafted requests without rate limits, allowing sustained high-frequency traffic to exhaust capacity. A valid account and high request frequency are required; Fortinet has not identified the affected endpoints or whether interruption is a hang or crash.
