Authenticated code execution via WebSocket memory corruption

Memory corruption in Fortinet FortiOS and FortiProxy SSL VPN webmode allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted requests. The SSL VPN webmode WebSocket handler uses uninitialized resources and performs excessive iteration while processing attacker-controlled requests, corrupting memory. A valid VPN account and reachable webmode service are required; successful exploitation executes code or commands on the appliance.
