SQL injection via unsanitized fileid parameter
Published Jul 20, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
SQL injection in Weaver e-cology before 10.58.0 allows attackers to alter database queries through a crafted fileid parameter. The filelFileDownloadForOutDoc.class POST handler accepts SQL control syntax in fileid, as shown by a WAITFOR DELAY payload. Successful injection reads sensitive database data and permits further malicious database operations, while published assessments disagree on whether adjacent authenticated or unauthenticated network access is required.
