Unauthenticated Workbench access via MyBatis username interpolation
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Apache Submarine 0.7.0 allows remote attackers to bypass login and access Workbench through a crafted username. The SysUserMapper MyBatis LIKE clause embeds userName directly with ${userName}, allowing quotes and Boolean operators to alter the query. The login interface requires no prior authentication, and a successful predicate bypass returns a user record that grants Workbench access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
