Reflected XSS via unencoded search input
Published Jul 20, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in PaulPrinting CMS 2018 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser through a search link. The /account/delivery handler places the GET q parameter into Search output without secure encoding, so crafted markup executes in the rendered page. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account and victim interaction; resulting script can hijack the victim's session or alter displayed content.
