CVE-2023-37875Network attack vector

Authenticated XSS via improperly encoded web output

Published Sep 12, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Wing FTP Server 7.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify browser content through the User Web Client. The CNA identifies improper output encoding in that client, but neither the record nor vendor history names the affected input or rendering operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged authentication and victim interaction, and the CNA limits impact to browser-side content modification.
