Stored cross-site scripting via unescaped event names
Published Jul 20, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Codecanyon Tiva Events Calender 1.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through event names. The name parameter is saved and returned without output encoding in the index.php event preview and edit.php value field. A low-privileged account can plant the payload, but another user must view an affected page for browser-side execution and session compromise.
