Privilege escalation in AURES Technologies KOMET 20230509 allows physically proximate attackers to escape kiosk mode through touch input. The extended context menu for highlighted item text exposes Web Search and Share, opening an unrestricted browser that reaches local files and executes downloads. Physical access to the front display is required; no keyboard, authentication, or user interaction is needed to access files, alter displayed content, or run code.
