Authenticated file read via Qt configuration dialog
Published Aug 9, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Arbitrary file read in Phoenix Contact WP 6xxx panels before 4.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to read device files via Qt Browser. A configuration dialog accepts an externally controlled filesystem reference and returns referenced content without confining selection to intended resources. Low-privilege access is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the browser account; no write or execution capability is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
