Remote code execution via weak Administrator passwords
Published Sep 14, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Weak password requirements in i-doit Pro and Open 25 and earlier allow remote attackers to guess an Administrator password by brute force. Admin Center account creation accepts a one-character password and permits the default username admin, leaving the management login exposed to guessing. A successful guess grants Admin Center access, where malicious plugin upload and activation can execute code when any user logs in.
