CVE-2023-37755Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator access via unchanged default credentials

Published Sep 14, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in i-doit Pro and i-doit Open 25 and earlier allow remote attackers to obtain administrator access. The main login accepts the shipped admin account name and password, while setup neither replaces those credentials nor requires their change. Any network-reachable instance retaining the defaults exposes full application administration, including arbitrary system operations and service interruption.
