Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published Jul 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Stack overflow in Tenda AC5, AC7, AC9, AC10, AC1206, F1202, and FH1202 firmware allows remote attackers to execute code. The fromNatStaticSetting handler passes the untrusted page parameter to sprintf without a length check, overflowing its v6 stack buffer. Unauthenticated requests affect AC5, AC7, AC10, and AC1206 1.0, AC9 3.0, F1202 1.0BR_V1.2.0.20(408), and FH1202 1.2.0.19_EN, causing a crash or arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
