Unauthenticated code execution via unbounded sprintf
Published Jul 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F1202 1.0BR_V1.2.0.20(408) and FH1202 1.2.0.19_EN allows remote attackers to execute code. The fromRouteStatic handler passes untrusted page and mitInterface parameters to sprintf without length checks, overflowing stack buffers. An unauthenticated HTTP request to /goform/fromRouteStatic reaches the flaw, enabling service interruption or arbitrary code execution.
