Stored script execution via unsanitized ticket messages
Published Oct 23, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Stored XSS in UVDesk Community Skeleton 1.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted ticket messages. The ticket-save endpoint accepts the reply parameter from the Message field, stores it without effective sanitization, and renders it when another user opens the affected page. Ticket-creation access is required, and execution depends on another user viewing the stored message, enabling browser-session data theft or page modification.
