Admin authentication bypass via unescaped login fields
Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
SQL injection in code-projects Online Restaurant Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass administrator authentication. The admin/login-admin.php handler interpolates posted email and password values directly into a SELECT query before PDO prepares and executes it. No authentication is required; a tautological value in either login field grants access to the administrative dashboard and its order and menu management functions.
