Browser script execution via unneutralized checkout fields
Published Jul 19, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Cross-site scripting in GZ Scripts Car Rental Script 1.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts through checkout fields. The EventBookingCalendar checkout endpoint fails to neutralize first_name, second_name, phone, address_1, and country values before generating page content. A victim must load the crafted output; the script can alter page content in that victim's browser, with no direct server availability impact.
