Unauthenticated command execution via management-port request
Published Jul 13, 2023 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Command injection in ELECOM and LOGITEC wireless LAN routers allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands without authentication. The web management service on a dedicated port fails to neutralize command syntax in a crafted request; the affected handler and parameter are undisclosed. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation executes commands with the router service's privileges.
