Improper input validation in CODESYS products before 3.5.19.20 or 4.10.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash runtimes. CmpAppBP accepts inconsistent fields in crafted CODESYS protocol requests and uses them in an internal read from an invalid address. Successful product authentication is required; exploitation interrupts the affected runtime without reported data disclosure or modification.
