CVE-2023-37411Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via stored Web UI script

Published May 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in IBM Aspera Faspex 5.0.0 through 5.0.6 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in the Web UI. IBM has not disclosed the affected field or endpoint; the Web UI stores user-supplied script content and later renders it without neutralization. Exploitation requires high privileges and a victim to view the affected content, exposing credentials or altering actions within that trusted session.
