Authenticated arbitrary command execution
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in IBM Aspera Orchestrator 4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. IBM states that a specially crafted request reaches the command-execution flaw but has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or command-building operation. A valid Orchestrator account and network access to its web interface are required; successful exploitation runs commands on the host.
