Cross-site scripting in Joplin before 2.11.5 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript by supplying a crafted SVG document. The HTML sanitizer permits an SVG use element whose data-URL payload contains an image error handler, causing the note viewer to run attacker-supplied script. A user must render an untrusted note; the script can access Electron Node APIs and execute commands with that user's privileges.
