Heap-based buffer overflow in AMI MegaRAC SP-X 12 before 12.7 and 13 before 13.6 allows adjacent attackers to corrupt BMC memory. AMI has not disclosed the affected BMC service or parser, the accepted input, or the operation that writes beyond a heap allocation. Exploitation requires adjacency to the BMC management network, no credentials, and no user interaction; successful corruption compromises BMC confidentiality and integrity or interrupts service.
