Authentication bypass via hard-coded token encryption key
Published Jul 21, 2023 · Updated Oct 24, 2024
Authentication bypass in Galaxy Software Services Vitals ESP 3.0.8 through 6.2.0 allows remote attackers to access the system as any user. The token-validation design relies on a fixed encryption key, allowing independently generated token parameters to pass as legitimate credentials. No prior account or user interaction is required; a successful request exposes system data and permits execution of application processes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
