Unsafe ViewState deserialization in SmartSoft SmartBPM.NET 6.70 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. The application uses a fixed ASP.NET machine key to validate attacker-supplied ViewState, allowing a correctly signed serialized payload to reach server-side deserialization. No account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs code in the server context and can interrupt the service.
