CVE-2023-37284

Unauthenticated command execution via crafted authentication-bypass request

Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Improper authentication in TP-Link Archer C20 firmware before Archer C20(JP)_V1_230616 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands. Public records do not identify the affected request handler or explain how the crafted request bypasses its authentication check. The attacker must share an adjacent network with the router; successful exploitation grants arbitrary OS-command execution on the device.
