Improper authentication in Ping Identity PingFederate allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through a configured sign-on flow. The flaw occurs when the Identifier First Adapter interacts with an HTML Form Adapter, but Ping Identity has not disclosed the incorrect authentication operation. Exploitation requires a specific, highly unrecommended configuration and user interaction; successful access compromises protected data without interrupting the service.
