CVE-2023-37197Network attack vector

Authenticated content manipulation via mass-configuration SQL injection

Published Jul 12, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2024

SQL injection in EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert 7.9.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read or alter managed content. The mass-configuration handler fails to neutralize attacker-controlled endpoint-setting values before incorporating them into an SQL command; Schneider Electric has not disclosed the affected function. A valid DCE account and access to endpoint mass-configuration settings are required, after which database content can be read, changed, or deleted and unauthorized actions performed.
