CVE-2023-3718Network attack vector

Authenticated privileged OS command execution via CLI injection

Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024

Command injection in AOS-CX 10.10 and 10.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute privileged OS commands through the switch CLI. HPE identifies the AOS-CX command-line interface as the locus but has not disclosed the affected command, parameter, or input-handling error. An authenticated network-management session is required; successful exploitation permits full compromise of the switch operating system.
