Unauthenticated command execution via diagnostic IP injection
Published Jul 7, 2023 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A3000RU firmware 17.0.0cu.557_B20221024 allows remote attackers to execute commands via its management interface. The setDiagnosisCfg handler fails to neutralize shell metacharacters in the untrusted ip parameter before command execution. CISA maps the advisory to A3000RU, although the CNA description and proof repository label the device A3300R; network access is sufficient.
