Remote code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jul 10, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Disputed unrestricted file upload in Projectworlds Online Art Gallery Project 1.0 allows attackers to place PHP files via adminHome.php. The published exploit sends a multipart sliderpic POST, retains the supplied PHP filename, and retrieves the file from the web-accessible images directory. Although the exploit asserts that no authentication is required, CHT Security states that administrator permission is required, and the CVE remains disputed; a successful upload permits server-side command execution.
