Remote command execution via unsanitized mac parameter
Published Jul 7, 2023 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Command injection in Tenda AC10 15.03.06.26 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through a crafted mac parameter. The formWriteFacMac handler passes mac into doSystemCmd, which invokes system() without neutralizing shell metacharacters. The published request targets the HTTP management interface and includes a password cookie, although NVD rates exploitation as requiring no privileges.
