Stored script execution via crafted custom label
Published Jul 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 20, 2024
Stored XSS in SEACMS 12.1's Management Custom label module allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. Public records do not identify the accepting parameter or output sink; they establish only that a crafted payload is stored and later rendered as active web content. A low-privileged account can submit the payload, but exploitation requires another user to view the affected management content, exposing that browser session to script actions.
