API key disclosure via rendered MailChimp block
Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive-information exposure in WP Royal's Royal Addons for Elementor 1.3.70 and earlier allows remote attackers to read a MailChimp API key. The MailChimp block places the configured key in the rendered source of every page containing that block, making the secret available without authentication. Exposure requires the block to be enabled and present on a reachable page; the record does not describe the key's granted MailChimp permissions.
