Unauthenticated system-time modification via crafted HTTP request
Published Aug 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 4, 2024
Improper input validation in CP-Plus DVR firmware before 4.000.00AT008.0.R.20230302 allows remote attackers to change system time. The web-based management interface accepts a specially crafted unauthenticated HTTP request without adequately validating the time-setting input; the exact endpoint and parameter are undisclosed. Network access to the management interface is sufficient, and exploitation alters the recorder clock with no reported confidentiality or availability effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
