MME crash via missing S1AP identifier

Null pointer dereference in Magma MME 1.8.0 and earlier allows network-adjacent attackers to crash it via malformed S1AP packets. The s1ap_mme_handle_uplink_nas_transport handler accepts Uplink NAS Transport without MME_UE_S1AP_ID, leaves ie null, then dereferences it. Reachability requires access to the S1 interface as a base station or through its protected network, and exploitation interrupts MME processing and cellular service.
