Script execution via unneutralized page inputs
Published Jul 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 19, 2024
Cross-site scripting in TravianZ 8.3.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser. The affected views place alliance names and tags, statistics and preference inputs, Admin Log content, or the COOKUSR cookie into generated pages without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires a user to load an affected page; the script runs in that user's TravianZ origin and can access data available to the session.
