PHP code injection via exposed installation script
Published Jul 7, 2023 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Incorrect access control in TravianZ 8.3.3 and 8.3.4 allows remote attackers to overwrite server configuration and inject PHP code. The installation script performs no effective authorization before accepting values that replace the server configuration with attacker-controlled PHP. Network access to the script is sufficient; successful abuse changes trusted configuration and places attacker-controlled PHP in it.
