Memory corruption via File parameter stack overflow
Published Oct 16, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stack overflow in TOTOLINK CP300+ 5.2cu.7594_B20200910 and earlier allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted File parameter. UploadCustomModule fails to constrain attacker-controlled File data before it exceeds the bounds of a stack buffer. Network access is sufficient without authentication or user interaction, and the resulting corruption can terminate the service or alter execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
