SQL injection in SourceCodester Life Insurance Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through the username field. The login.php authentication path incorporates the submitted username into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. No authentication or user interaction is required; injected SQL executes in the application's database context and permits data access or modification.
