CVE-2023-36918Network attack vector

Cross-site scripting via MIME-sniffed responses

Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024

Cross-site scripting in SAP Enable Now affected components allows remote attackers to disclose or modify information through a crafted response. Enable Now responses omit the X-Content-Type-Options header, so browsers can MIME-sniff attacker-controlled content and execute it as script. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to render the crafted response; impact is limited to information disclosure or modification in that user's browser context.
